I was young once
This early work makes ambition, flight, numbering, and risk visible before those concerns had newer names. Handmade rocket forms and launch-thinking appear here not as side anecdotes, but as a way of testing whether an idea can survive contact with gravity, failure, and repetition.
That prototype logic continues later in instruments, fabrication, classroom systems, and public tools. Numbering, iteration, and the willingness to test an unstable build all show up early here.
What reads now as careful systems design once looked more openly like launch-thinking: build it, risk it, number it, try again.
