Night Stalker Re-Runs on Channel 4
This early photographic series sits at one of the clearest origins of the practice. Lit domestic windows are seen from outside, through distance, framing, rerun logic, and partial access. The image does not preserve here. It translates, and in that translation something goes missing.
Those questions continue forward into later work on consent, participation, memory, threshold, and mediated seeing. The later systems work changes the container, but it keeps asking what a viewer is allowed to know, what a surface withholds, and how an image becomes public.
This lineage note sits between the preserved archive page and the current studio framing. It is here to keep the photographic root legible without rewriting the original project page.
